Iselitas Brand

Founded in 1983 by the Patriarch of the family, Roberto Weill, the Weill Group of companies have their origins in the production, distribution and export of fresh tropical fruits from Venezuela. Known for the high quality of our fresh fruit in general and plantains in particular, we quickly became the leader in the country for exports in that sector.

In 1990 the group decided it was critical to our success to vertically integrate and be able to guarantee the quality and consistency of our products for our customers from the farm to your home. That was the moment when our production facilities for tropical snacks were built and the Iselitas Brand was born!

Iselitas got its name from the Matriarch of the family, Isela, who would become an integral part of our success and an inspiration to the whole family. In 1991 we decided it was important to expand the horizons of the brand and began exporting our snack line to the United States. Iselitas® has grown throughout the years and expanded its line from regular plantain chips in only one presentation to plantain chips in all types of shapes, flavors and presentations as well as cassava (yuca) and pork products (chicharrones).

Today our brand is being produced in five different countries and six different plants assigning each one with the items that best represent the quality our customers expect from us. Our products can be found in more than five different countries.

We are continually innovating and improving our products to be able to give our customers the best quality possible and make sure we can retain your loyalty.
